Peak by Roland Smith
When Peak was arrested for scaling a skyscraper, he has two choices:
1. Go to Juvie (Juvenile Detention)
2. Live with his long-lost father, who runs a climbing company
But Peak quickly realizes that his father's only reason of letting him live with him is that he wants Peak to be the youngest person to reach the Everest summit.
Being a climber, Everest is too good of a deal to turn down and is a challenge of a lifetime, but it's also a deal that could cost him his life.
I actually read this a LOOOONGGG time ago, like last May, but never got the time to finish this post, so here it is. Honestly, I found this book somewhat boring/dull, even though it was an action-adventure.
