The Black Circle by Patrick Carman

A strange telegram leads Amy and Dan deep into Russia and away from the only trustworthy adult they know. Signed with the intials NRR, the telegram starts the race to uncover the treasure stolen by the Nazis and the truth behind the murder of the last royal family of Russia. But all too soon, the treasure hunts begins to seem like a Lucian trap, but the bait just might be irresistible...what will Amy and Dan risk to find out how their parents REALLY died?

The fifth book in the exciting 39 Clues series. This book was very interesting because it revealed something totally new about the Lucians! I also got to learn quite some new information on Russia, a place that I've never studied and I didn't know much about, so yeah.

Skeleton Creek by Patrick Carman

Strange things have been happening in Skeleton Creek...and Ryan and Sarah are trying to figure it out. But an eerie accident leaves Ryan housebound and forbidden to see Sarah and that leaves Sarah to the investigation. The investigation involves two things. Sarah's videos at Skeleton Creek and Ryan's Journal.

Oh my, I watched the videos that came with the books and dang, those were a bit creepy, even to my standards. But this book was really good and a bit scary because it actually seemed that it was possible for it to happen in a small town. I now really want to read thte next book!
