Tempted by P.C. Cast and Kristen Cast

So...after you:

-banished an immortal being and a fallen priestess

-saved Stark's life

-biting Heath

-being seriously annoyed with Erik

-almost died

Zoey thought she could finally be given a break. But a break is not in the plans of the House of Night for Zoey, the high priestess in training and her friends. Juggling three guys is far from a stress reliever too; especially if one of them is a warrior, sworn to protect her and can sense her feelings. And now, a nameless evil is spreading through the tunnels of Tulsa ... and Zoey has a feeling that Stevie Rae and her group of red fledging misfits are responsible for a lot more than they are telling. Aphrodite's visions warn Zoey about Kalona and his evil, but even Zoey doesn't have the power to ward of an immortal being. Soon it's obvious. Zoey has to stop Kalona or else he will hurt the ones she love, will Zoey have the courage to risk her life, soul and love?

... That's all I have to say.

Hunted by P.C. and Kristen Cast

What if the hottest guy in the world was hiding nameless evil, and all that he wanted was you?

Zoey's friends are back and Stevie Rae and the red fledgings are not Neferet's secret anymore. But another danger has come. Neferet and her new consort, Kalona...and no one at the House of Night seems to realize the danger he poses. Kalona is gorgeous and soon has the House of Night under his spell.

A past life shows the secret to break the spell, but what if Zoey doesn't want to face her past life and secrets?

Now, she and her friends, isolated in the red fledgings' tunnels, must think of a way to bring down this impending evil.

But that's not the only problem Zoey has.

The red fledgings' are helping out and making the tunnels seem more like home, but are they really as friendly as they seem?

Now Zoey finally has the chance to make up with her ex Eric, but why can she not stop thinking about Stark, the archer who died in her arms? Now determined to save him from Neferet's evil influence at all costs.

Will anyone believe the evilness that is coming?

Hehe, I did my book in a box on this (and I failed...I got a B-). Well, this book was pretty good, like the other ones, but yet, TOO MUCH BOYFRIEND PROBLEMS. That is really getting to me. To think, when it seems like no more guys will come into the series. But yet another guy comes into the love whatever-shape (I think it's beyond love pentagon).

Untamed by P.C. and Kristen Cast

Life sucks when your friends hates you.

Just ask Zoey, she knows how it feels. In only one week, she went from having 3 boyfriends to none. And from having the best of friends to being an outcast.

The worst part is that is it her own fault.

The only friends she have now are either undead, unMarked or won't stop bickering with each other. So who can blame her for becoming friends with the new transfer student, Stark, the hot Olympic archer?

Now, Neferet has declared war on the humans since the People of the Faith killed 2 adult vampyres. But Aphrodite's visions shows a world different from the perfect world Neferet promised, a world filled with violence and hatred.

And all because of Zoey's death.

Zoey knows fighting humans is wrong, but will anyone listen?

Yet again, exciting and unexpected turn of events!!! I can't wait to see what happens!

Zoey's adventures at the House of Night are about to take a mysterious turn.

Her friends are turning out to be her enemies. Her sworn-enemies are becoming her friends. Zoey will be tested more than she ever has been before.

Her best friend is now undead and trying to grip onto the thread of humanity she has left. Zoey doesn't know how to help her but they do know whose behind this secretive and sinister act of turning dead vampyres into the bloodthirsty undead. And it must be kept a secret at the House of Night where trustworthyness have become rare.

Oh, speaking of rare, here's something else that's rare: Zoey finds herself having two, no, three boyfriends.

But then suddenly, vampyres are turning out dead. Really dead. And the People of the Faith are not really seeing eye-to-eye with the vampyres and not to mention tired of living side-to-side with the vampyres.

But what Zoey and her friends finds out...things are not what they seem.

The series took an unsuspecting turn, didn't it? Especially when Stevie Rae died and become an undead! The only part I didn't like was how Zoey had 3 boyfriends. I mean two is already enough, isn't it?

Zoey has managed to settle in at the House of Night and come to terms with the vast powers the Goddess Nyx has given her. Just as she finally feels she belongs, the unthinkable happens: human teenagers are being killed, and all evidence points to the House of Night. While danger stalks the humans from Zoey’s old life, she begins to realize that the very powers that make her so unique might also threaten those she loves.

Luv this book, though parts were quite...disturbing. But still all out good. This is one of my only favorite vamp. series. I don't really like vamps. in general, so yeah.

{From Official House of Night Site}

"After she is Marked, 16-year-old Zoey Redbird enters the House of Night and learns that she is no average fledgling. She has been Marked as special by the vampyre Goddess Nyx. But she is not the only fledgling at the House of Night with special powers. When she discovers that the leader of the Dark Daughters, the school's most elite club, is mis-using her Goddess-given gifts, Zoey must look deep within herself for the courage to embrace her destiny— with a little help from her new vampyre friends."

I loved this book, very good. Probably my only favorite vamp book besides Millenium Snow. Though, there were some disturbing parts in it.......

Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant

Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant by Darren Shan

Darren is beginning to deal with his life as a vampire's assistant even though he still refuses to drink human blood and hates his mentor, Mr. Crepsley, for turning him into a half vampire and not letting him see anyone he wishes to. When he meets a good friend called Sam he learns he is going to smuggle himself away with the circus!

i liked this book better than the first book (Cirque Du Freak: A living nightmare), is was slightly more "bloody and gory" but not by much, i liked this book, not really horror much, but it was still good. Hmm, i wonder why did Darren Shan(the author) used his own name instead of some made up name...

Cirque Du Freak

Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan

Darren Shan is any regular school boy, he likes to bike and play with his 3 best friends, except he has a crazy obsession of spiders. But then he and his friends come across a mysterious invitation for a freak show called "Cirque Du Freak". Then the boys can only buy 2 tickets, and as if destiny, Darren gets one of the two tickets, and what follows is the horrible plunge into the world of vampires.

This is Darren's story.

I liked this book, well all the vampire books are usually for the "vampire book club" i'm in, so far this is my favorite of all the books (Into The Forest Of The Night, Demon In My View) this is more bloody-gorey type of vampire book, then the romance-vampire books like Twilight, Vampire Kisses, or Into The Forest Of The Night.

Demon In My View

Demon In My View by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes

Jessica isn't your average teen.

Nobody at her school knows that she is the author of the best-selling Tiger Tiger, under the pen name of Ash Night. Jessica often wishes that she was comfortable with her classmates, but she would rather be with her fantasy vampires and witches. She was always an outsider at Ramsa High School.

But when 2 new students come to Ramsa, they both want Jessica's attention. She has no patience with overly friendly Caryn, but she is instantly attracted to handsome Alex, a mysterious cocky boy who seems strangely familiar, is she did not know better she would think that he was Aubrey of her book Tiger Tiger that had sprung to life, which was of course impossible. Aubrey is just a figment of her imagination right?

I thought this book was better then Into The Forest Of The Night, it seems that Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, has gotten better than her first book. I enjoyed this book, but at parts I was kind of bored, and had to push through. Even this is the sequel, I think is would have been better as a prequel, because it makes more sense that way.

Into The Forest Of The Night

Into The Forest Of The Night...

Tiger Tiger! Burning Bright!
In the forest of the night!

Risika is a vampire. She was once Rachel, who was changed by Ather, a another vampire, 300 years ago. She died 300 years ago.

She is now at the top of the food chain, even above humans, nothing can stop her...except Aubrey, a vampire who is not only stronger, but is feared by many humans(who know of vampires existence, and vampires) he once hurt her with his blade, and now she is out for revenge over all the pain he caused, from the death of her brother Alexander, to the death of 'her' tiger.

I liked this book, it was a quick read and i admit is pretty much a great book for people around 13 or so, hmm i think it's amazing how Amelia Atwater-Rhodes wrote this book at age 13! It is really detailed and fills in on the reader about vampires and her history, i liked how there were "flashbacks" in the book, instead of just stating what happened in Risika's past.
