The Fourth Apprentice by Erin Hunter

The four clans have shared the area around the lake for many moons as equals. But a prophecy says that three Thunderclan cats will have the power of the stars in their paws, Jayfeather and Lionblaze, brothers, are two of them. They wait for a sign from Starclan to beckon them to the third cat.

Meanwhile, Ivykit and Dovekit - kin of Firestar- are counting the days left before they become Thunderclan apprentices. But when one of the sisters start getting omnious dreams, she realizes she possess skills beyond any other cat.

I don't know how on earth Erin Hunter comes up with all these ideas. I mean this is already the fourth series, but the things that happen, well, never fail to surprise me.

Excerpt from the back cover:
There will be three, kin of your kin . . . who hold the power of the stars in their paws.
A mysterious murder in the ranks has ripped ThunderClan apart. But more secrets still remain to be discovered.
Jayfeather is determined to find out who his real parents are. But he'll have to trample through a forest of lies in order to uncover the truth. Hollyleaf is shocked by her Clan's disobedience of the warrior code, and distraught enough to strike out at someone she's always admired. And Lionblaze must bear horrified witness to events that will change everything he believes.
In the harshest days of leaf-bare Clanmate turns upon Clanmate, danger lurks behind familiar faces, and one more warrior may be lost forever. . . .

Well, I didn't write a review, because I couldn't really think of any other way to describe this book, this book was just so SHOCKING and DEPRESSING at the end! I almost couldn't believe what happened! This is the last book in the warriors series:the power of three, there are 3 other series (Warriors:Original, Warriors: The New Prophecy, Warriors: The Power Of Three, and Warriors: Omen Of The Stars, and there are Field Guides, Special Editions, and a Manga) this book was probably the most unsuspected events happened in, I really liked this book and can't wait for the book The Fourth Apprentice, the new book to come out!!!!
