The Shadow Club Rising by Neal Shusterman

The Shadow Club doesn't exist anymore.

The group that once anonymously played pranks on their rivals, until they spun out of control.

Now Jared and the other ex-Shadow Clubs members are having a hard time shaking away their reputation. And when the new golden boy falls victim to a series of nasty pranks, everyone points to Jared.

But with one catch. Jared didn't do it.

Now determined to prove his innocence, Jared soons falls into a nightmare worse than anything the Shadow Club has ever done.

A very nice sequel to the first book, this book had a different feel than the first book. The first book was more like a realistic fiction than the second. The second was more of a mystery. The ending was a lot different than I thought, I didn't suspect it at all!

The Shadow Club by Neal Shusterman

The point of the Shadow Club is simple.

There are kids that are tired of being "second-best". They get together and talk about their feelings for the first time. It seems harmless enough, just talking.

But soon, they decide to play pranks on the "first-bests" they envy.

But things slowly spin dangerously out of control.

Another great realistic fiction by Neal Shusterman. I liked the concept of the story, because it's so very true. There are always kids that are "second best", even if their best friends or sworn enemies, and this shows the side of the losers, not the winners of life. I really liked the characters, because they were so easy to relate to, on how they felt about the "first bests".

Antsy Does Time, Neal Shusterman

Antsy Does Time, Neal Shusterman, Book - Barnes & Noble: "It was a dumb idea, but one of those dumb ideas that accidentally turns out to be brilliant–which, I’ve come to realize, is much worse than being dumb. My name’s Antsy Bonano–but you probably already know that–and unless you got, like, memory issues, you’ll remember the kid named the Schwa, who I told you about last time. Well, now there’s this other kid, and his story is a whole lot stranger. It all started when Gunnar Ümlaut and I were watching three airborne bozos struggle with a runaway parade balloon. That’s when Gunnar tells me he’s only got six months to live. Maybe it was because he said he was living on borrowed time, or maybe it was just because I wanted to do something meaningful for him, but I gave him a month of my life . . .

. . . And that’s when things began to get seriously weird."

Oh my, the sequel was better than the original book! That is really rare for series! And yet again, this takes the place of my favorite Neal Shusterman book (though the Schwa was Here and Unwind come in a close second and third). THis book was really sweet and meaningful and left me feeling good when I finished it! I highly recommend this series! I really hope Neal Shusterman makes a third book in this series!

The Schwa Was Here, Neal Shusterman

The Schwa Was Here, Neal Shusterman, Book - Barnes & Noble: "They say his clothes blend into the background, no matter where he stands. They say a lot of things about the Schwa, but one thing’s for sure: no one ever noticed him. Except me. My name is Antsy Bonano—and I was the one who realized the Schwa was 'functionally invisible' and used him to make some big bucks. But I was also the one who caused him more grief than a friend should. So if you all just shut up and listen, I’ll tell you everything there is to know about the Schwa, from how he got his name, to what really happened with his mom. I’ll spill everything. Unless, of course, 'the Schwa Effect' wipes him out of my brain before I’m done . . ."

I absolutely loved this book! I mean a lot of people say this is not their "favorite" Neal Shusterman books but its definetly one of mine! I'm so glad that they might make a film out of this book, I can't wait to see it in theaters! I dont' know, but the characters in this book was just so...likable and easy to relate to and not only that, this book was hilarious too!

But each ride is of each of his seven deadliest fears...and now Blake has no where to run...especially from the secret he has been running from for years.

Oh My Gosh, I absolutely loved this book! One of Neal Shusterman's best! It had all the things I love in a book! Romance, good plot, risks, horror, suspense, adventure...etc. I don't think I've read a book this good in a long time!

Dreadlocks by Neal Shusterman

Dreadlocks by Neal Shusterman

Fifteen year old Park Baer is bored of his perfect life. But his life will be forever changed when he finds the gorgeous Tara sleeping in his bed. Exotic-looking with long glimmering spirals of golden hair that seems alive and her eyes behind her sunglasses all the time (along wtih living with a hosue of statues). Parker keeps an eye on her, fascinated. Tara seems to pick students at the high school up and wraps them around her finger. But her "friends" start developing weird symptoms, like eating dirt and drinking gallons, literally gallons of milk! Only Parker knows what Tara is up to, and soon he seems to facing those cravings himself...can he stop her destructive game or will he be doomed under her spell forever.

I was slightly disappointed with this book, I mean it WAS good, but I didn't like it as much as Neal Shusterman's other books. I was also disappointed with the ending too. Though I DID like how they described Tara, and how interesting and strange her characteristics would be like in the future if ________ existed. (XD I'm not telling you WHAT she is).

Unwind by Neal Shusterman

Unwind By Neal Shusterman

Connor, Risa and Lev are running for their lives.

The 2nd Civil War was fought over reproductive rights. What was the resolution? Life for teens are safe until the age of thirteen. When between the ages of thirteen and eighteen, one's parents can have their child "unwound", that is when all the teen's organs are transplanted and given to other people, so life doesn't technically have to end. It like they are living in many different people. Connor is a delinquent. Risa is an orphan and is not worth being kept alive. Lev, a tithe, his fate of being unwound determined since birth as part of his parent's strict religion. Now together, they make a cross-country journey across the states, hoping they have the chance to escape and survive---And eighteen seems very far away.

I loved this book. Best book ever. This book was very well-written and detailed. Also, the story was told in an interesting way, in many people's point-of-view, instead of just one. I loved the ending XD. Everyone dies...Haha, just kidding. Maybe. You have to read to find out!
