The Princess and the Pauper

The Princess and the Pauper by Kate Brian
Princess Carina is the princess of Vineland, a forgein European county had been emailing a punky rock star in the US and wants to meet him, but her parents doesn't want (and let) her go to the US unless she accepts one condition, she has to go with her own personal body guard Killroy.
Julia, is just any regular girl, not so popular, ordinairy girl, but her mom and her is about to lose their apartment because of all their unpaid debts. But when Princess Carina comes to her school, Carina hatches a plan, and she and Carina trades place, not only do they look alike this will help both of them, for Carina, a night with her rockstar prince, and for Julia, a day to be princess and money to save her home (Carina is paying her to do this).
But a twist happens, while Carina is with her rockstar prince, she acidently fell asleep in the band's car and got shipped off to Texas,
and Julia is flown away to a forgien county!
I really liked this book, it's a modern fairytale, but i liked Beastly better, (scroll down or go to the next page for summary) its interesting how the girls tell the story, and how they both admit that, yes, being princess is not really all that great. Kate Brian is an awesome writer with her neat descriptions.
