Here's a simple question: What do you get when you take... 1 over-achieving nerdy girl + 1 insanely cute guy + 1 massive debt + 1 plan that is totally unhonest but involves a lot of cash = ???
Maya has always been the good girl. She works long hours at her family's restauraunt and gets straight A's. And Camden was always the popular and hot guy she passed by everyday in the halls, whose ego was probably bigger than his brain. She never thought she would have a reason to interact with him at all.
But then again, she never knew she would screw up so bad that her family might lose their restaurant if she didn't come up with lots of money. Fast. So that's where Camden comes in - his plan to do kids' homework for cash.
Maya knows cheating is wrong, but that's better than being dead, right? Which is what she will be if her parents ever find out.
She never expected to mess up so bad. She never expected her life to spin so far out of control. Or did she expect to be a sucker to Camden's lopsided grin. Or to realize that spinning out of control was the best that ever happened to her.
The answer to the question: The best time of her life.
This book was amazing. I love the whole nerd girl falls and ends up with a total popular jock (despite being cliched). Maya was very lovable and she had a sense of humor and was witty, making the book hilarious. One of the best books I've read in a long time!
