Flash Burnout by L.K. Madigan

Fifteen year old Blake has a girlfriend and a girl friend.

One wants him and one needs him.

When Blake snapped a picture of a homeless person on the street, he never thought that it would be Marrissa's long lost meth-addict mother! But now, he is in a relationship with Shannon, he constantly finds himself trying to figure out the difference of boyfriend and just a friend. Shannon seems to be constantly mad at him...but perfect at the same time. His relationship with Marrisa is so much easier. Friends in their photography class (a.k.a. "pretty and gritty"). But once Marissa sees that picture, she constantly is missing looking for her missing mother, and now Blake finds himself lying to Shannon to check up on Marissa, but despite loving Shannon, he finds himself more interested in Marissa's uncontrollable life that seems to strengthen his friendship with her.

This is the story of Blake. And his journey to find the true, blur-free snapshot of his life.

Oh gosh, this was an amazing book. I didn't think it would have been as good as it sounded, but it was amazing, trust me. But the ending...hmm..let's just say, I didn't like it as much, but it was a good conclusiona and it answered his question of "Who am I really?" I definetly recommend this book!
