Zoey has managed to settle in at the House of Night and come to terms with the vast powers the Goddess Nyx has given her. Just as she finally feels she belongs, the unthinkable happens: human teenagers are being killed, and all evidence points to the House of Night. While danger stalks the humans from Zoey’s old life, she begins to realize that the very powers that make her so unique might also threaten those she loves.

Luv this book, though parts were quite...disturbing. But still all out good. This is one of my only favorite vamp. series. I don't really like vamps. in general, so yeah.

Yahh! I can't wait for the fourth book "All That Glitters Is Not Gucci" to come out! Even though I"m usually not a big fan of girly stuff, I like this series. Yep. I really liked this book.

Max by James Patterson

Max by James Patterson{http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAX:_A_Maximum_Ride_Novel}

The flock must try to save the ocean, Max's mother, and protect themselves from the criminal mastermind's own ideas for them. During the struggles, Fang and Max's relationship makes progress and strengthens, causing Max to realize the feelings she has for Fang.

Yer. I honestly think these books are amazing. I really love them. Lawl, it took Max long enough for her to realize she has feelings for Fang. This book is exciting and kept me excited til the very end. Can't wait for the next book "Fang" to come out!

The Sword Thief by Peter Lerangis

The Sword Thief by Peter Lerangi{http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sword_Thief}

The book starts with Dan and Amy in a Venice airport. There, Ian and Natalie Kabra steal their plane tickets and board a plane where their au pair, Nellie, already is seated. Then, Amy and Dan are then forced to team up with Alistair Oh and fly with him on his private plane to Japan. Together they learn about Toyotami Hideyoshi, the greatest warrior in the history of Japan, and the son of the first Tomas.
While Amy, Dan, and Alistair are researching, the Holts take them captive, forcing them to lead the Holts to the possible site of a clue—a Tokyo subway station. When a train approaches, the Holts run. Amy's foot gets stuck in the tracks, and Dan struggles to pull her out. Before the train hits them, Alistair pulls them out of the way into a hidden room. Amy is saved but suffers a sprained ankle.
In the room, they find a
haiku, which tells them to use geometry to find Hideyoshi's treasure. Later, they find some geometric shapes, but are chased by the Yakuza, who throw shurikens at them. They are rescued by Nellie, who has struck a deal with, and is accompanied by, the Kabras. When the Kabras give Amy and Dan a small coin of importance to the search, the two Cahills agree to join forces with the Kabras. They decode another message in the shapes, and some English letters. The message tells them to go to Korea.

This was a great book. Yep. This is the third book in the 39 Clues series. This is my favorite out of all the ones I read (1,2,3), I don't know why, but this one I was more interested in. Lol, maybe because there's a little romance between Ian and Amy.

The Pretty Committee Strikes Back by Lisi Harrison

The Pretty Committee Strikes Back by Lisi Harrison
The girls pack up their warmest cashmere sweaters and tiniest iPods to their class trip to Lake Placid.
Uh-oh! The Briarwood boys are just cabins away!
Massie has to have the nerve and kiss Derrington right in front of the MUCK girls. (Massie's Underground Clinic for Kissing).
Kristen, has had a horrible haircut, leaving her looking more manly than any of the Briarwood soccer players. No way is she being left at Westchester and OCD to rot!
Alicia is too frustrated to have fun here, trying to find out this "mysterious" girl her crush Josh Hotz has a crush on.
Meanwhile, Claire desperately wants Cam back after the Nina incident, where he accidently saw her kissing Alicia's crush Josh Hotz. She will do anything she can to win him back, even if it means sneaking into the boy's cabin, even though its strictly against the rules.
Ha, got so bored to read another one of these books. This one was very, very stupid and too fashiony and cliched. It was all about friends, boys and kissing. GAHHHH. *faints*

One False Note by Gordon Korman

One False Note by Gordon Korman

{From Barnes and Noble.Com}
"THIS JUST IN! Amy and Dan Cahill were spotted on a train, hot on the trail of one of 39 Clues hidden around the world. BUT WAIT! Police report a break-in at an elite hotel, and the suspects ALSO sound suspiciously like Amy and Dan. UPDATE! Amy and Dan have been seen in a car . . . no, in a speedboat chase . . . and HOLD EVERYTHING! They're being chased by an angry mob?!?

When there's a Clue on the line, anything can happen."
Now, Amy and Dan are following Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Nannerl Mozart's path of life to discover where the clue and the mysterious music came from.
Hehe. Honestly, I liked this book better than the first one though it was still a bit boring. I liked the same thing from the first book, how it told about some famous person in history, this time Mozart and his sister. It was so cool to find out all this stuff about Mozart and his "mysterious" sister.

The Maze Of Bones by Rick Riordan

The Maze Of Bones by Rick Riordan

{From Barnes and Noble.Com}

"Minutes before she died Grace Cahill changed her will, leaving her descendants an impossible decision: "You have a choice - one million dollars or a clue."Grace is the last matriarch of the Cahills, the world's most powerful family. Everyone from Napoleon to Houdini is related to the Cahills, yet the source of the family power is lost. 39 Clues hidden around the world will reveal the family's secret, but no one has been able to assemble them. Now the clues race is on, and young Amy and Dan must decide what's important: hunting clues or uncovering what REALLY happened to their parents."

Now, Amy and Dan, along with their "au pair" babysitter Nelly, must travel to France and follow Ben Franklin's footprints through his last few years of life.

This is not the best book by Rick Riordan, because it was sooo boring until like the last eight chapters. But I liked how it gave so much information about Ben Franklin, its kind of cool when in Social Studies and I hear about Ben Franklin and how I learned it from this book.

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
{Summary/Overview from Barnes and Noble.com}
"Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge. "

YAY! The 2nd book! I really love this book, though I liked the first one better. I'm soooo against the couple Peeta and Katniss, its just so...fake and all a show, along with being a one-sided love. I like Katniss and Gale together, because they have been friends for a long time and actually care for each other! Oh, and there goes me babbling again.

Dog Days by Jeff Kinney

Dog Days by Jeff Kinney

It's summer and the weather is great! But where is Greg Heffley? Inside of course, playing his video games with his shades drawn.
Greg, an "indoor person" , is living his ultimate summer fantasy: no rules, no regulations, no responsibility.
But his mom has different ideas. She planned a whole summer of outside time and family time.
I liked this book, heck, I like this whole series. Its funny and realistic, despite being drawn in cartoons. It actually seems as if its being told by an 8th grader. I liked the ending because it was kind of unsuspecting.

The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan

The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan

{From Wikipedia}

"Percy Jackson, his friends, and the Olympians fight in a war resembling the original war between the Greek gods and the Titans and in a final battle with the powerful Titan, Kronos. They ultimately defeat Kronos in the battle and Olympus is saved. Many fight for Olympus, including the Hunters of Artemis, dryads, satyrs, naiads, and tree nymphs, Chiron's centaur cousins the Party Ponies, and the hellhound Mrs. O' Leary. They have to defend Mt. Olympus while defeating Kronos' huge army of rogue half-bloods, dracaenae, Hyperboreans, Laestrygonians, telekhines and hellhounds..."

[opinions contains spoilers]

This is the last book of the Percy Jackson series. It was amazing, and I really liked the ending, though I didn't really want Luke to die, because he was one of my favorite characters odd enough. But I was really sad that this was the last book, I wanted it to keep going! But oh well.

Marked by P.C. and Kristen Cast

Marked by P.C. and Kristen Cast

{From Official House of Night Site}

"After she is Marked, 16-year-old Zoey Redbird enters the House of Night and learns that she is no average fledgling. She has been Marked as special by the vampyre Goddess Nyx. But she is not the only fledgling at the House of Night with special powers. I loved this book, very good. Probably my only favorite vamp book besides Millenium Snow. Though, there were some disturbing parts in it.......

Revenge of the Wannabes by Lisi Harrison

Revenge of the Wannabes by Lisi Harrison

After leaving her dance class, Alicia is full of confidence and decided to throw her own sleepover with a few of her dance classmates on Friday, the sacred day of the Clique's sleepover. But when Massie finds out about this, Alicia is instantly booted from the Beta position of the Clique and replaces her with Claire. So, Alicia tried to start her own Clique but soon realizes its harder than in appears.
Honestly, I don't really like the Clique series, but I have to admit, the books are getting sort of better. I guess. The reason I don't like these books are, well yes, girl, especially popular girls ARE mean, but they are not THAT mean, its just unbelievable.

24 Girls in 7 Days by Alex Bradley

24 Girls in 7 Days by Alex Bradley

When Jack finally gets the courage to ask his crush Pamela to the prom, he totally blows it and Pamela instantly turned him down. His best friends Percy and Natalie pity him for his fail at talking to girls.

But what happens when Natalie and Percy put an ad about how Jack was free and looking for a prom date in the school's newspaper? The complete opposite of what he expected. Forty-five responses quickly came up. When he found out, he is furious, because secretly he thought the prom was a time for magic and romance.

As more and more responses come in, Jack soon realized that he is wanted by more than a hundred girls, and all of them are ones that fight fiercely. But soon Percy and Natalie decides that its too much girls and narrowed it down to 24 girls, which he would date in 7 days. But when he starts getting emails from Miss FancyPants, who stays unknown to him. Could one of these 24 girls be the ONE?!

This was a very interesting book, this was a romance told from the guy's point of view NOT the girl's. Surprisingly it was very good, especially the ending, it was very unsuspecting.

Megan Meade's Guide to McGowan Boys by Kate Brian

Megan Meade's Guide to McGowen Boys by Kate Brian
Megan cannot believe that this is happening. Her parents are being transferred Korea because they work for the army. But now sick of moving from place to place, she said she will not go with them. But she has only one other choice: she has to live with the McGowen Boys, the ones that were so disgusting and annoying now turned into "Abercrombie Gods".
Her life is getting harder ever since she realized that she liked Evan McGowen, and school's even worse when Evan's girlfriend Hailey is competing for the top soccer player and Evan. While at the same time, she hangs out with Miller McGowen, the autistic boy, and she learns as much as she can about austism and is making breakthroughs with him.
Soon, she starts the "Guide to McGowen Boys" who she sends to her best friend through email.
I liked this book, and the ending was unsuspecting. It was interesting, because it was a romance that was NOT told in a girly-girl's perspective but a total soccer-tomboy. I recommend this to people who absolutely despise the Clique series. :P

And soon the Hunger Games begun, as Peeta and Katniss fight together to survive.

I absolutely loved this book, it was simply amazing. I love Suzanne Collin's book, especially the Hunger Games and Catching Fire and Gregor the Overlander series.

Tricks by Ellen Hopkins

Tricks by Ellen Hopkins

Five teenagers live in different parts of the country. Four straight. One gay. Some poor. Some rich. Some have amazing familes. Some have no one at all. They go searching for family, freedom, and the meaning of true love, and what "I love you" really means.

I liked this book, there isn't much more I can tell you about it, because I would spoil it. But the only warning it that its a very mature book with lots of swearing, and its about teen prostitution. This book is told by poems, something I loved about this book, so you can get through this book quickly despite its 700-ish pages. It was suggested for 14+ year olds and 9th grade+ but I didn't know when I read it so yeah....

Poseur by Rachel Maude

Janie Farrish: Middle Class. Has a scholarship to LA's exclusive Winston Prep. Talents: Vintage Clothing and sketching.

Charlotte Beverwil: French Obsesser. Loves everything French. Love this from ribbons to lace, thinks she was born a century late.

Petra Greene: Shows up at school in organic clothing. Hippie Goddess. Has had plastic surgery.

Melissa Moon: Egomaniac, daughter of Seedy Moon, rap star. Wants to start her own fashion brand called "Melissa Moon".

But what happens if the four of them are combined into a lame independent study class called the "Trend Set". Though together they have the perfect amount of talent and knowledge to launch their own fashion brand.

Only problem: They HATE each other. Period.

I liked this book actually despite its topic: Fashion Designing. This book is actually quite complicated in the relationships, but eventually it all ties together. People who like the books The Clique, The A-Lister, Gossip Girl, etc. Will like this book/series.
